The Dunamis Community Missionary Experience (CME) is actively engaged in several local and global mission projects that align with its core mission of empowering, equipping, and mobilizing believers to live out the Gospel through service, discipleship, and evangelism. These projects reflect Thrive Church’s commitment to being a church in action, impacting lives both in Visalia and around the world.

Current Projects Associated with Dunamis CME

 

1. Thrive Educational Scholarship Fund (Kampala, Uganda)

  • In partnership with Thrive Church, Patten University students from Kampala, Solomon and Evarine, are this provided educational opportunities for them to reach children in Kampala.

  • Focuses on scholarships, school supplies, and mentorship programs to empower students through education and faith-based leadership.

2. Church Planting and Leadership Development (Uganda,                      Kenya, Tanzania)

  • Working alongside Pastors Moses and Emmanuel, Dunamis CME is helping train, equip, and support church planters as they establish new churches across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

  • Provides theological training, discipleship materials, and leadership development for local pastors and missionaries.

 

3. Dunamis Local Outreach (Visalia & Central Valley of CA)

  • Engaging in community service projects, evangelism, and discipleship initiatives to serve those in need in Visalia and surrounding areas.

  • Involves feeding programs, homeless outreach, and partnerships with local organizations to bring practical and spiritual transformation to the community.

 

4. Sustainable Missions Projects

  • Supporting agriculture, livestock, and small-business initiatives in Uganda and Kenya to promote self-sustainability for pastors, churches, and communities.

  • Helps break cycles of poverty by providing resources and training in farming, livestock care, and entrepreneurship.

 

5. Short-Term Missions and Training

  • Organizing mission trips where members of Thrive Church and partner organizations can experience hands-on evangelism, community service, and discipleship training.

  • Hosting missionary training programs to equip individuals for both short-term and long-term mission work.

 

Looking Ahead: The Future of Dunamis CME

 

Dunamis CME is focused on expanding its impact by increasing training programs, growing its network of global partnerships, and strengthening local outreach efforts. The goal is to raise up a generation of Spirit-empowered believers who are ready to go, serve, and disciple others—whether in their own communities or across the world. The mission continues, and the best is yet to come!
